Carl Bayley, BSc ACA
Carl is Taxcafe's Editor and author of some of our most popular tax guides. A regular speaker on tax matters, he was recently invited to talk to over 450 people at the latest Property Investor Show. Carl is also a regular contributor to TV programmes such as the BBC's It's Your Money programme and national newspaper articles on tax matters. He was recently appointed to the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. |

Lee Hadnum, LLB ACA CTA
Lee is a rarity among tax advisers having both legal and chartered accountant qualifications. After qualifying a prize winner in the Institute of Chartered Accountants exams, he also went on to become a chartered tax adviser (CTA). Having worked in Ernst & Young's tax department for several years Lee now has his own tax consultancy. He is author of a number of our tax guides and provides personalised advice through our popular Question & Answer Service. |

David is tax partner at Chiene & Tait, one of Scotland's largest and most prestigious firms of chartered accountants. His firm was recently appointed as financial adviser to the Edinburgh International Festival. He and his team have wide experience in all areas of UK tax. |

James Smith, BSc ACA
James is the author of several guides for small business owners and private individuals. He originally trained with KPMG, one of the largest accounting firms in the country, and now runs his own accounting practice based in Oxfordshire dealing predominantly with owner managed businesses and property tax. |

Nick founded Taxcafe.co.uk in 1999 and is the company's Managing Director. He came to the UK in 1994 to complete a masters degree and PhD in economics at the University of Glasgow. Prior to that he was editor of Tax Breaks and Personal Finance, South Africa's best-known financial advice publications. |

Aileen founded Taxcafe.co.uk with Nick in 1999. She obtained a doctorate in art history from the University of Aberdeen and following a career in art consultancy completed a PgDip in Multimedia. |

Aaron is Taxcafe's permanent web developer. He is an expert at developing and maintaining large customer databases and a specialist in internet programming languages. |
